The disease of addiction does not discriminate between sex, age, creed, colour, religion, sexuality or any other demographic and can manifest itself in many different forms. Many don’t realise just how extensive the problem is in our society with gaming, social media and ketamine being amongst the most prominent addictions amongst the youth of today, often leading to thoughts of self harm and suicide.
NOBODY IS IMMUNE!
The stigma attached to the issue often prevents people from being honest with themselves and others. Furthermore, many are reluctant to ask for help through fear of judgement and being ostracised by their families and wider society. Unfortunately, this can often result in devastating consequences such as divorce, homelessness, prison and suicide or death.
ALL OUR CALLS ARE COMPLETELY CONFIDENTIAL!
Modern day life and the pressures within society to act or look a certain way can create perfect incubators for addictive behaviour patterns. Addiction is a disease which puts a huge strain on the public sector, including the NHS and the police force as unfortunately there is no known cure or medication that can relieve us of this illness. However it has been proven over the last 90 years that the most effective treatment comes from working closely with another recovered addict in a 12 step programme and thus millions of addicts remain in a recovered state.
PLEASE DO NOT SUFFER IN SILENCE
Our team of recovered addicts have the lived experience of addiction, integrated with the pressures of society. We provide a safe and confidential space for anyone struggling which includes one-to-one mentoring and group meetings, completely free from judgement. Our programme blends recovery and spiritual principles to give light to those isolated in the darkness and provide hope for the addict that they can get well and once again become a productive and enthusiastic member of society.
NOBODY IS TOO FAR GONE!
